Our February meeting is just about a week away, and we are so excited to discuss Ender’s Game, by Orson Scott Card! This sci-fi classic is packed with complex and wrenching questions that hit at the heart of Christian moral reasoning—sacrifice, honor, and accountability. Who ought to bear the weight of a society, offering up their own life for the lives of others? What does God think of child soldiers? Are moral truths situational, or universal?

In this introduction video we touch on just a few of the rich themes of Ender’s Game, including reflections on our own often hilariously humbling parenting journey. Remember to also check out the Discussion Guide for a brief overview of some historical and theological topics in the novel, as well as the discussion questions.

If you’re a book club member, be on the lookout for an email with the meeting Zoom link on the morning of the 24th, and if you’re not a member yet, sign up here today to participate in the discussion!

We are really looking forward to discussing this incredible story with you over Zoom on MONDAY, FEBRUARY 24TH, at 7pm CST!

Gloria in excelsis Deo!
